Year 5 enjoyed 5 fun weeks of Shared Education with Irvinestown Primary School and St Paul’s Primary School. They experienced a fantastic number of activities together including:
- Den building
- Science and Art -Andy Goldsworthy lesson on camouflage
- Literacy - Creating storyboards, role play activities and sense poems
- Walk around the Mill Race exploring the history of Ballinamallard’s railway
- Mindfulness and wellness activities including -stretching and relaxation activities in the outdoors
- Planting sunflower seeds
- Art- painting and decorating flower pots
To round off a wonderful year of Shared Education, all three schools came together for a fun filled outdoor day at Necarne. The children played together and explored the grounds.
