Science Experiment
26th Mar 2026
Year 5 carried out a science experiment to find out which materials are best at keeping liquids warm. We started off our first lesson with a lovely warm mug of hot chocolate to get our thoughts and ideas gathered before planning our experiment. There was lots of discussion about how to make it a fair test. We found out that the best material at keeping liquids warm for longest was tinfoil and the worst was cotton wool.
