Today Year 6 took part in an exciting challenge designing, building and testing three different gliders. Their goal was to discover which design flew the furthest in a straight line. The children worked in teams, recording their results for us to discuss and compare. We discovered how our design choices affected flight. We also learnt all about sustainability and the importance of using sustainable materials in our designs.
