Year 1 carried out an investigation into what type of water would melt ice the fastest. We made sure we set up a fair test. We decided that our bowls should have the same amount of water in them and that our frozen fish should go into the water at the same time. We predicted that the warm water would melt the ice the fastest. We had to be very patient! We discovered that we were right - the warm water melted the ice first followed by the salty water.
