Today we welcomed Margaret from the Livestock and Meat Commission to school to give us a cookery demonstration.
She taught the children how to make chilli beef pasta and provided a fantastic cookery and information book for each child to take home. Everyone had the opportunity to sample the dish and parents- you may be asked to recreate the dish from today.
There were also valuable lesson on nutrition and the Farm Quality Assurance Scheme.
