Year 1 took part in a taste experiment to celebrate British Science Week. We got our taste buds ready by tasting the four basic flavours - sweet, salty, sour and bitter. We liked some but not others. Then we tasted four different types of crisps using our sense of taste and our sense of smell to work out what they were. We were good at this and got certificates for taking part.
